We would like to thank Diabetes UK for their kind comments below - Diabetes UK, the charity for people with diabetes, has a network of voluntary groups throughout the UK. The Sheffield Group aims to provide support, companionship, education and information for people living with diabetes and their carers. The Group also raises funds both for local use and to contribute to the Diabetes UK Research Fund. Glynis Beattie, Honorary Chair of the Sheffield Group said. "We like to get out and about during the summer with our Information and Fundraising stall. We had been using a cheap gazebo but found it wasn't very good in inclement weather so we looked around for something more substantial. The staff at LP Tents were extremely helpful and the money we spent on purchasing our new marquee has proved a good investment. We are now much more noticeable at local fairs and other events and can get out whatever the weather. The marquee is very adaptable. When the sun shines we use it with just the roof, but then we can put up the side walls if we need to."
